Installation of YOGS President Dr. Girish Mane And Secretary Dr. Harshlata Gaynar
Got installed on 20 FEb 2016 by the hands of Dr. Jaideep Malhotra , in the presence of Chief guests Dr.Pushpa Somwanshi, H.O.D. Dept of ObGy PDMMC Amravati, Dr.Dhote Civil Surgeon Yavatmal, Dr.Raja Kadukar President IMA Yavatmal. (pic ) Dr. Harshlata Gaynar was Hon. Secretary. (pic of body names) Had 3General Body meetings and almost 15 managing committee meetings throughout the year. Vice President Dr.Paresh Gandecha created the constitution of the society for very first time in this tenure. AMOGS and FOGSI managing committee meetings were attended by Dr.Girish Mane and Dr.Paresh Gandecha respectively.

- It was 2 days conference.
- Granted 4 MMC credit hours.
- Had 3 unique Panel discussions.

- One LIVE DRILL , DEMO, SURGICAL TECH and TRAINING OF PARAMEDICALS ON PPH by Dept of Obstetrics and Gynaecology , Govt. Medical College Aurangabad
- Grand cultural night of YOGS members
- Published SOUVENIR 2017 edited by Dr. Sangita Tawde and Dr.Vrishali Mane.
This year, some special activities were conducted for first time.
- Birth days of every member was celebrated at their home with the presence of YOGS members.
- Marriage Anniversary of every member was celebrated by all YOGS members.
- YOGS organized RADIO INTERVIEW with the inclusion of 4 YOGS members on EVERY
- FOGSI DAY. TOTAL INTERVIEWS WERE 14.

- 12 INTERVIEWS ON EVERY FOGSI DAY
- 1 ON BREAST FEEDING
- 1 ON DOCTORS DAY.
- TOTAL 40 MEMBERS PARTICIPATED IN RADIO INTERVIEWS.
- Every member was gifted a FLEX of "NO FEMALE FOETICIDE" to display in their OPD.
- 4 poor girls were adopted for their full education. One by YOGS and 3 by YOGS members.

- Peri and Post menopausal bleeding.
- Ca Ovary and Cancer management
- Preterm labour, PIH, PPH
- Contraception upto date
- PPTCT & Up gradations in Management of HIV
- Atosiban
SOCIAL ACTIVITIES :
- HEALTH CHECK UP CAMPS : Total 24 health check up camps were arranged by YOGS and YOGS members individualy.
- 4 Pap smear camps and one surgery camp at Pandharkawda Rural Haospital.
- Adolescent health Education Program : YOGS had Adolescent Health Talks in more than 30 Schools and in Various places of Yavatmal District like Pandharkawda, Wani, Umarkhed, Mohada, Darvha.
- Health Talks on Cancer Cervix and Cancer Breast for 6 times.
- Tele Vision Interview on Adolescent Health Education on Local Channel by Dr.Girish Mane , Dr.HArshlata Gaynar and Dr.Vrishali Mane.
- Distribution of 20000 booklets on Adolescent Health Education written by Dr.Vrishali Mane.
- Many articles have been published by YOGS members in NEWS PAPERS.
- Participation in Pradhan Mantri Surakshit Matrutva Abhiyan on LARGE SCALE, was started from this tenure.
- Training for paramedical staff on Pap smear and on CuT insertion.

THIS YEAR YOGS ACHIEVED 5 PRESTIGIOUS AWARDS.
- AMOGS AWARD FOR BEST SOCIETY OF 2016-17, in annual AMOGS conference at NANDED.
- FOGSI-SMRITI MYLAN SAVE BABY GIRL AWARD first runner up, in annual FOGSI conference at AHAMDABAD.
- DR.DURU SHAH YOUTH TROPHY , in annual FOGSI conference in BHUWANESHWAR.
- DR.SADHNA DESAI TROPHY , in annual FOGSI conference in BHUWANESHWAR.
- FOGSI HAS TALENT FIRST POSITION (SINGING) TO DR.GIRISH MANE.
- The tenure ended on 2April 2017 and Charge was handed over to upcoming President
- DR.RAJNI KAMBLE and Hon. Secretary DR.PRANJAL MADANKAR.
- THE CHARGE WAS HANDED OVER WITH AUDIT OF SOCIETY TILL THE DATE.

- The Blue background stands for vastness, infinity, depth and noble character which FOGSI is as an organization.
- The Saffron Band stands for courage, sacrifice and the spirit of renunciation which is abundant in our members.
- The White Band stands for purity and truth, the character of our profession.
- The Green Band known as the color of life itself, is associated with fertility for the mothers we treat.
- These colors used together blend well and are very harmonious, signifying the functioning of FOGSI.
- The Curve indicates encompassing, protecting as well as togetherness of FOGSI members as it starts together at one point and expands towards FOGSI’s goals.
